Privacy Policy
How personal information is collected, used and protected on this website, in line with POPIA.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This website, www.kaylascott.co.za (“the website”), is operated by Kayla Scott. This policy explains what personal information is collected, why it is collected, and how it is handled, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What is collected
- Waitlist sign-ups: your first name, email address, and — if you choose to share them — your WhatsApp number and what you are interested in exploring.
- Contact form messages: your name, email address, chosen subject and message.
No personal information is collected from you simply by browsing the website. If analytics tools are enabled in future, this policy and the cookie notice will be updated accordingly.
Why it is collected
- To send you course updates, launch details and early access information you have asked for.
- To respond to messages you send through the contact form.
Waitlist emails are only sent with your explicit consent, given through the consent checkbox when you sign up. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying to any email or contacting us through the contact page.
How it is stored and shared
Your information is stored securely in this website’s database, hosted in a protected environment. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing. If an email marketing service is engaged in future to deliver course updates, your details will only be transferred to a provider with adequate data protection safeguards, and only for the purpose described above.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may at any time request access to the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do so, use the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
